Monetary donations are greatly appreciated.  Donations may be sent to:  Treasurer of AAUW-OR, 386 East Drive, Oak Ridge, TN 37830 or given to a local AAUW-OR member.  Listed below are four AAUW-OR donation possibilities:

The RSCC Education Projects Fund supports our Roane State Community College (RSCC) Projects including (1) scholarships for deserving non-traditional women students and (2) a plaque commemorating the AAUW Education Award winner on RSCC Awards Night.  Contributions are not tax deductible.

The Local Education Projects Fund includes (1) annual donation of books to the Oak Ridge High School Media Center and (2) a Women’s History Month Display at the Oak Ridge Public Library.   Contributions are not tax deductible.

The AAUW Educational Opportunities Fund provides higher education fellowships, scholarships, and grants awarded nationally to assist women in the pursuit of their education and careers.  Since 1959, our Branch has made annual contributions to this fund (formerly the AAUW Educational Foundation).   Contributions to the Education Opportunities Fund are tax deductible.

Our Local Operating Fund covers expenses for the Yearbook, the meeting location, the web page, the Newsletter, and travel to conferences.  Donations to this fund help us avoid membership dues increases.  Contributions are not tax deductible.
