General Meetings

Currently General Meetings are on Zoom.com.  General meetings were held at the First Presbyterian Activities Building, Room 102, on fourth Mondays at 11:30 a.m., and included lunch and a program, with the exception that a Holiday Tea is hosted on a Sunday afternoon in December.  No general meetings are held during the months of November, December, June, July, and August.

FYI…The 2001-2022 Programs will occur via Zoom.com due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Projects

Three (3) major Branch projects fund scholarships for women at Roane State Community College and a locally-named grant to National Women’s Post-Graduate Fellowships:  1) April Luncheon for Scholarships, 2) Holiday Tea Donations, and 3) our Gift Store.  In addition, AAUW provides magazines and tutors to Girls, Inc., books for Women’s History Month to Oak Ridge High School Media Center, and Women’s History displays at the Oak Ridge Public Library.  AAUW members may volunteer and contribute to any of these projects and/or to the Branch operating expenses.
